Yes! PoshPups Colorado is fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind.

2. How long have you been in business?

We’ve proudly been serving pets and their people for nearly 8 years.

3. What areas do you serve?

We serve Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Golden, Littleton and the greater Denver Metro area.

4. How do I get started?

Simply contact us via phone, text (is the fastest way to get in touch) or email. Once we discuss your needs we will then schedule a meet and greet. 

5. Do you require a meet-and-greet?

Yes. A complimentary meet-and-greet ensures your pet feels comfortable and we understand their routine, personality, and special needs.

🐶 Dog Walking FAQs

6. How long are your walks?

We offer 30, and 60-minute walks.

7. Are walks private or group?

All walks are private unless otherwise requested.

8. What happens during bad weather?

We adjust based on safety. If weather is extreme, we may shorten outdoor time and replace it with indoor enrichment and play.

9. Will I receive updates?

Yes! After each visit, you receive a detailed update with photos.

🏡 Pet Sitting FAQs

10. How many drop in visits per day do you recommend?

For dogs, we recommend 3–4 visits per day. For cats, 1–2 visits per day depending on their needs.

11. Do you stay overnight?

For pet sittings we do stay overnight. 

12. Can you administer medication?

Yes, we are experienced in administering oral, injection and topical medications.

13. What if my pet has special needs?

We love senior pets and pets with unique needs. Please share details during your meet-and-greet

🐾 Boarding FAQs

14. Is your boarding cage-free?

Our boarding environment is home-style, loving, and stress free so we do recommend that pups be crate trained. We crate pups for naps, when left alone and for bedtime. 

15. How many dogs do you board at once?

We keep boarding limited to ensure personalized attention and comfort.

16. What should I bring for boarding?

Food, medication (if needed), crate and any comfort items like a favorite toy or blanket.

17. Are dogs supervised?

Yes. Dogs are supervised and never left alone for extended periods.

Policies & Booking FAQs

18. Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A deposit is required to secure bookings, especially for holidays and bookings scheduled far in advance.

19. What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary depending on service length and type. Please feel free to ask directly.

20. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payments through our secure client portal.

21. Do you charge extra for holidays?

Yes. Holiday rates apply on major holidays and peak periods.

🐕 Safety & Trust FAQs

22. What happens in case of emergency?

In the event of an emergency, we will contact you immediately and transport your pet to your preferred veterinarian if necessary.

23. Will the same person care for my pet?

We prioritize consistency and will communicate clearly if another trained team member is scheduled.

24. Can you handle reactive or anxious dogs?

Yes, with proper information and a meet-and-greet to assess comfort and safety.

25. How will I know my pet is happy?

You’ll receive photos, updates, and notes after every visit so you can see exactly how your pet is doing.

26. What makes PoshPups Colorado different?

We provide structured, reliable, personalized care — not gig-based care. Your pet becomes part of our extended family.

27. What if my dog doesn’t do well in new environments?

This can happen with any dog when they are boarding in a new place. As long as they are not destructive or show signs of aggression we are happy to do what we can to help them feel comfortable. Sometimes, instead of boarding, your pup would do better in a more familiar environment like your home. We offer pet sitting for these cases. 

28.What if I have multiple pets?

The more the merrier! We enjoy working with multi-pup homes. 

29.What if I need last-minute care?

We prefer a month notice for bookings but feel free to text to check our availability if you need assistance last minute. 

30.​ Do you require vaccines for boarding?

Yes.
